If you’ve customized a grid layout using the Style tab (e.g., spacing, font styles, colors, alignment, etc.), it’s important to reset all styles before switching to a new preset.
Failing to reset can result in broken or inconsistent layouts because some custom settings may override the new preset’s design.
Why Reset is Important #
Custom styles (like margins, paddings, positioning, background colors, or typography) are stored in the style settings. If you switch to a new grid style without resetting, these old values may still apply and override the new layout.
How to Reset Styles Automatically #
- Scroll to the Style tab in the Flexi Post Grid panel.
- Go to the “Reset All Style” section (as shown below).
- Click the “Reset Styles” button.
Tip: This is highly recommended before switching styles to ensure a clean and consistent look.

What If Reset Doesn’t Work Automatically? #
Sometimes individual settings may not reset as expected. In such cases, you need to manually reset them.
For example:
- Go to settings like Image Padding, Text Color, or Button Margin
- Click the reset icon (🔄) beside each setting you want to reset
Example: Click the reset icon (🔄) beside each property. Each setting may have a different default value depending on the element or device view.

Best Practice #
- Always reset styles first, then switch to the new preset.
- If some styles persist, manually reset individual settings using the reset icons.
Following this ensures that your newly selected preset grid layout appears exactly as designed — clean, responsive, and visually consistent.
